The Cap Frehel
Beautiful cliff of schist and pink sandstone
The Cap Frehel, 45 km from Saint-Malo, is a leading shale and red sandstone which is located at the end of the bay of Saint-Brieuc, in the department of Côtes d'Armor.
It's an exceptional site which is a bird sanctuary between gorse and heather, along the Emerald Coast.
Cap Frehel is the cliffs overlooking the sea about 70 meters, they are counted among the most impressive in Britain. An old granite lighthouse adorns them.
You can tour the Cape thanks to hiking trails and clear day, you have the opportunity to see the Channel Islands of Jersey. These trails will take you to Fort La Latte.
